What can we say! We LOVE warm weather!! Waking up in the morning to a beautiful day and seeing those big brown eyes looking at you with that all to familiar glare, you can just hear your pups say. . .

Some of the Mk9 crew is getting ready for a few weekend hikes with our pups!
We all know how to load up for ourselves - sunscreen, water, good hiking shoes, snacks, towel, toilet paper (ya never know haha), bathing suit under clothes & maybe even a set of extra socks.
Now for our pups!!

- Pack a lunch. . . In a zip bag or 2 pack up your pups food for the day, they need a fully tummy to keep going. Also make a special bag for some treats for stops.
- Something to put the lunch in & their water. . .
Collapsible bowls will be your best friends easy to fit in any pocket.
- Hiking paw wear. . .depending on where you will be hiking the booties will protect your dogs paws from "ruff" ground.

- Dog Life Jacket. . .hey now!! you packed a swimsuit for yourself! What if you come across a water hole of a lake the pups can play in. It's no fun sitting tied up to a tree while mommy & daddy go swimming.

Where will you carry all of this for you AND your dogs?!
Well, you don't have to carry anything for your pups, they will carry it! Pick your pup up a saddle bag dog back pack. It can hold all of what the pup will need for your hike, even poop bags & extra treats ;)

Oh & if your pup doesn't have room for his life jacket you may just have to carry it for them ;), but that's ok you love your pup and will do anything to make and keep them happy!
